一枝干莲蓬 in a wide celadon bowl. The architectural form of the seed head — a shower-head of dark circles — is sculptural enough to stand alone.
三片叶的枫枝 in a bamboo holder. Choose a branch where the leaves are at different stages — one green, one turning, one red. The progression is the arrangement.
不要加水，不要再添第二枝，也不要加入配花。一枝，便已足够。
