This 5-piece set (teapot, 2 cups, saucer, and tea towel) is made in a single firing batch of 20 sets. Each set is numbered 1/20 through 20/20. The teapot has a hand-carved strainer and a balanced pour — the result of 30 years of teapot design.
The master makes each piece individually — the teapot alone takes 3 days to throw, trim, carve, and finish. The entire batch of 20 sets takes 3 months to complete. Once the batch is sold, the edition is closed permanently.
Each set comes with a numbered certificate, a dedicated JIHE Book, and a custom-fitted storage box made from paulownia wood.
Use it for gongfu cha — the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Warm the teapot with hot water before brewing. The 500ml teapot is designed for 2 cups, poured back and forth for even strength. After use, rinse all pieces with hot water and let air dry. Store in the paulownia box when not in use.
