Collectible works by selected masters, heritage inheritors, senior artisans, and representative studios — created for collectors, quiet interiors, and long-term cultural memory. $500 – $5,000+. By inquiry.
A masterwork is an object that represents the full capability of a maker at the peak of their practice. It is not a 'best product.' It is a demonstration piece — the object that says: this is what I can do.
JIHE Masterworks are selected by four criteria: the maker is a recognised master with 20+ years of practice; the piece is made individually by the master's own hands; the edition is limited (typically 10–30 pieces); and the piece is fully documented with provenance, a signed certificate, and a dedicated JIHE Book.
If a piece meets all four criteria, it enters the Masterworks collection. If it does not, it remains in the Heritage Craft Collection.

Begin a Collector's Inquiry →In addition to the standard JIHE Book, masterworks include a signed certificate of authenticity, the edition number, the maker's personal statement, and a record of the firing or finishing batch. The archive is designed to travel with the piece for generations.
