Yes — celadon is dishwasher safe on the top rack. However, hand washing with warm water will preserve the glaze longer. No detergent is needed for rinsing; a soft cloth is sufficient.
Yes. Celadon is fully vitrified — it holds water indefinitely without seeping. Use it for flower arrangements, tea brewing, and daily meals.
Celadon is strong but not indestructible. Avoid stacking pieces directly on top of each other. Place a cloth or felt pad between stacked pieces. Do not expose to sudden temperature changes (e.g., pouring boiling water into a cold vessel).
Rinse with warm water. For stubborn stains, use a soft sponge with mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners and metal scouring pads. The crackle pattern that develops over time is natural and desired — do not attempt to remove it.
