Jingdezhen has been producing porcelain since the Han dynasty. This cup is thrown on a kick wheel, glazed in a translucent celadon tint, and fired at 1,300°C. The slight variation in each cup is not a flaw — it is the signature of a single pair of hands.
Use it for the first cup of the morning — the one you drink before checking your phone. The thin rim lets the tea cool to a drinkable temperature quickly, and the foot sits comfortably in the palm. Over time, the glaze will develop a faint web of crackle lines — this is expected and beautiful.
