A Bowl That Feels Right in the Hand

This bowl is wheel-thrown in Longquan and glazed in the classic celadon green. The foot is left unglazed and sanded smooth — it should feel comfortable in the palm. The interior glaze is slightly thicker, giving the bowl a luminous quality when filled with liquid.

How to Live with It

A daily presence.

Use it daily. Rice, soup, fruit, a single egg. Or leave it empty on a shelf and let the glaze do the work. The bowl is microwave and dishwasher safe, but hand washing will preserve the glaze longer.
