Form Follows Function

This pitcher is thrown in two parts — the body and the handle — then joined before firing. The spout is pulled and shaped by hand, then trimmed to ensure a clean pour. The celadon glaze is applied in three coats, with the final coat thinned to prevent drips on the handle.

How to Live with It

A daily presence.

Use it for water at the dinner table, or for cold tea on a summer afternoon. The handle is designed for a full grip — your whole hand, not just your fingers. The spout pours cleanly without dripping when tipped at the right angle.
